Family Care Benefits

As part of our commitment to offering holistic benefits, Fanatics has partnered with Care.com to support you in caring for your family while managing work and life. This benefit gives you:

  • A free Care.com membership where you can post a request, search, and reach out to local caregivers to find individuals to help you with child care, adult care, pet care, housekeeping, tutoring, and more.
  • Subsidized child care and adult care, when your regular care is not available. You can use up to 10 days of back-up care per year. The cost is $6/hour for in-home care or $15/day for child care in a center.
  • Access to on-demand tutors and academic resources for students in grades K–12, plus college, at no cost to you.

Adoption Assistance

We recognize that families are built in many ways. If you decide to adopt a child, Fanatics is here to support you. Through the Adoption Assistance Program, you can receive reimbursement for up to $2,500 for the adoption of an eligible child. An eligible child is a child who has not yet attained the age of 18 or who is physically or mentally incapable of self-care, and who is not the child of your spouse or domestic partner.

Expenses eligible for reimbursement include agency fees, court costs, attorney’s fees, and other expenses directly related to the adoption of an eligible child. Requests for reimbursement must be submitted within six months of finalizing the adoption process.

MetLife Legal Plan provides legal assistance for some of the most frequently needed personal legal matters —with no waiting periods, no deductibles and no claim forms, when using a Network Attorney for a covered matter. And, for non-covered matters that are not otherwise excluded, this benefit provides four hours of Network Attorney time and services per year.

Student Loan Repayment Assistance

The burden of student loan debt can have a tremendous impact on your life. This program can assist you in paying down your student loan debt.

Who’s eligible?

US employees who participate in the Fanatics 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan are eligible for the Student Loan Repayment Assistance program.

The Flexible Matching Program allows you to:

  • Use your 401(k) match funds for student loan repayment.
  • Choose how much of your matching funds to put toward your student loans.
  • Direct these funds to your student loan through easy payroll deduction (ordinary income tax applies to funds transferred from your 401(k) account).
  • Put your matching funds toward your 529 account instead of (or in addition to) your loan balance.
  • Take advantage of Advisory Services to get help in consolidating your student loans.

Education Assistance

To help you pursue your educational goals and advance your professional success, we have partnered with the University of Arizona Global Campus to offer eligible team members access to convenient online degree programs at discounted costs.

Who’s eligible?

All US employees* are eligible for this benefit. You must be currently employed by Fanatics at the time you submit your eligibility request to the University of Arizona Global Campus. In addition, members of your immediate family (spouse/domestic partner and children) are also eligible.

The University of Arizona Global Campus tuition benefit for Fanatics employees includes:

  • An adjusted rate of tuition of $408 per credit for undergraduate tuition
  • An adjusted rate of tuition of $532 or $592 per credit for Master's level tuition (dependent on degree of choice)

Participants will be responsible for any university costs or expenses incurred that are not covered by this education assistance program.

You can choose from a wide range of Associate, Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral degree programs, including high demand fields of study such as health care, education, information technology, and business. All programs are offered online, making it possible to earn a college degree while working full-time.

 

Educational Reimbursement Assistance Program

At Fanatics, we encourage self-development through further learning. Our Educational Reimbursement Assistance Program offers assistance with the cost of tuition and certain expenses toward the achievement of a high school diploma or college degree, as well as expense reimbursement for Company-approved certification or licensing programs.
